Don’t bother using services like yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc. even though they may not cost anything you may be paying with less business credibility and lost marketing opportunities. Show potential customers you are serious about your business by investing in your own domain. Having a business domain adds credibility and as an added bonus with each email you send you are promoting your brand and not a free service.
Tip 2: Set up multiple business specific email addresses
Create multiple email accounts for example email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org. Your potential clients and customers will not just see you they will also see the perception of a team. In addition using multiple emails can increase productivity because you will know where to focus your time daily when reading and responding to email.
Tip 3: Create instant response messages
Manage expectations with instant response messages (also known as autoresponders) you create in advance. Each response will get automatically delivered upon receipt of an email. This adds immediate follow up to visitors requesting standard information from you via email. As an added bonus, using this tip will save you hours of time each week responding to individual request.
