That’s why in my bio, giving my elevator pitch and in general conversation I purposely stopped mentioning the term “search engine optimization”, also known as, SEO. Because I’m not sure why, but those 3 words (or 3 letters) scare people. First, SEO is not something you “Do” to your website once then walk away. Second, SEO is not something you implement then expect immediate results overnight. In fact, a good SEO website strategy takes time and consistency.
