I am going to start by asking you what I think is a simple question, is your online marketing efforts and social media driving traffic to your website?

Here are five tools that show if you’re driving traffic with social media is working:

Tool 1) Use Facebook Insights

Every Facebook business account has page insights to clearly report how you are driving traffic with social media. This feature provides anonymous data on how people are engaging with the content you publish on your business page, allowing you as the admin to see the numbers and graph of engagement. Utilizing this data can help you make informed decisions on how to optimize your social media strategy for driving more traffic to your spa.

Tool 2) Use Hootsuite Reports

You can create a report to view the summary statistics of their Ow.ly shortened links. This will tell you information such as how many clicks you had on a link, where the clicks were coming from, and your most popular links. Keep an eye on your most popular links to optimize your strategy and drive even more traffic to your site.

Tool 3) Use LinkedIn Analytics

Gain insight into the performance of your LinkedIn Company Page by utilizing LinkedIn analytics to track the performance of your Page and identify trends. Make data-driven decisions to improve your strategy and increase your online visibility.

Tool 4) Use Bit.ly Analytics

This link shortener is will show you with numbers, charts and graphs how many bit.ly time your links have been clicked. You can get this data by the hour or up to the past 30 days.

Tool 5) Use Google Analytics

The other options mentioned are a good place to start. However if you REALLY want to understand and listen to EXACTLY what your website traffic is telling you Google Analytics is the best no-cost option. Google Analytics not only lets you measure sales and conversions, but also gives you fresh insights into how visitors use your site, how they arrived on your site, and how you can keep them coming back.
